SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant ACTT Recruitment 2023 Salary

Candidates who are selected for the position of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) will undergo on-the-job training for a duration of 2 (two) years, extendable for an additional period of 2 (two) years if needed. Throughout the training period, they will receive a consolidated pay of Rs.12,900/- for the first year and Rs.15,000/- for the second year. Additionally, they will be entitled to free medical facilities, leave, and other benefits as per the company’s rules. Upon successful completion of the training, they will be considered for regular employment in the S-1 grade with a pay scale of Rs.25070-3%-35070/-(S-1).

SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant ACTT Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

• Eligible candidates must participate in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in Hindi/English on the designated date.
• The CBT comprises 100 Objective-type questions, with 50 focused on technical knowledge and 50 on General Awareness.
• The duration of the CBT is set at 90 minutes.
• Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be shortlisted for a skill test/trade test based on merit, with a ratio of 1:3 for each post/discipline/trade.
• The Skill Test/Trade Test is of qualifying nature, and the final selection will be based on the CBT marks, with a weightage of 100%.
